DTX-9000 Integrated Signal Conditioning Data Recorder

Chassis Recorder Specifications:

Two versions of the DTX-9000 series chassis are available. Each chassis supports up to 64 channels of signal conditioning (16 modules) with integrated data recording capability. The standard DTX-9017 is a 5U rack mount configuration with an internal data storage drive, while the enhanced DTX-9417 chassis utilizes dual removable external hard drives and redundant 400 watt power supplies in a 6U configuration. Both chassis are based on an Intel Pentium IV processor running a standard Windows operating system complete with user GUI for ease of operation and driver libraries for dedicated test configurations.

DTX-9017 Compact 5U Signal Conditioning Data Recorder
General Specifications
The DTX-9017 chassis uses a standard Intel computer board as the system controller with a Widows operating system. The surrounding enclosure was designed to reduce system noise and isolate sensitive sensor conditioning components from processor noise, while providing all the advantages of a COTS system within an instrumentation grade product offering.

General Specifications

Number of module slots: 16
System controller: Pentium IV processor with 512 MB RAM
Peripheral support: Video, Keyboard, Mouse, USB 2.0
Power supply: 400 Watt (120V/240V)
Internal hard drive: 80 GB (160 GB optional)
Operating system: Windows Advanced Server
Network connection: 100 MB, 1Gbit Ethernet
Software: Complete user GUI for setup and control
Drivers: Windows drivers support user customization
Recording Capability
The DTX-9017 chassis supports continuous recording of data up to an aggregate rate of 6.4 Mega-Samples/second. Unique to the 9000 series is the ability to independently select digitization rates to match single channel filter settings. This feature allows for recording bandwidths from 400 Hz up to 800 kHz to be optimized to sensor response characteristics.

Recording Specifications

Sample rate: 1 kHz to 2 MHz programmable
Independent channel data rates: Yes
Aggregate sustained recording rate: 6.4 MSamples/Second
Alias protection: -90 dB at Nyquist rate selection
Continuous recording at maximum sustained rate: 80 GB data drive: 1.7 hours
Continuous recording at maximum sustained rate: 160 GB data drive: 3.4 hours
Remote recording to redundant drives: Yes
Mechanical Features

The DTX-9017 chassis is a custom designed enclosure supporting up to 16 of our DTX-5000/DTX-6000 conditioning modules, plus an Intel Pentium IV processor board, power supply and cooling fans. The mechanical frame provides all the structural support and interconnections for a variety of operational configurations.
